Copyright and DMCA Policy
Reporting, takedowns, counter-notices, and repeat infringers.
Effective date: May 14, 2026
1. Copyright standard
Users must only upload, request, sell, or deliver content they have rights to use. Request may remove or restrict content that appears to infringe copyright, trademark, likeness, privacy, or other rights.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Copyright notices should be sent to Request's copyright contact at copyright@request.cx. Before a US launch that relies on DMCA safe-harbor protections, Request must complete and maintain US Copyright Office DMCA agent registration and publish the registered agent details.
3. Takedown notices
- Your full legal name, organization if applicable, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- The URL, creator page, tracking code, file location, or other information reasonably sufficient for Request to locate the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4. Review and takedown process
Request may remove, disable access to, preserve, or restrict allegedly infringing material while reviewing a notice. Request may notify the affected user, request more information, reject incomplete or abusive notices, and take enforcement action where appropriate.
5. Counter-notices
- Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury, where applicable, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to the jurisdiction and service-of-process requirements that apply to the relevant DMCA or local-law process.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
6. Repeat infringers
Request may terminate or restrict accounts that repeatedly infringe or are the subject of credible repeated rights complaints. Request may count takedowns, verified rights complaints, repeat uploads, evasion attempts, and processor or court notices when enforcing this policy. Request may preserve records and share information with rights holders, processors, or authorities where appropriate.
